Google Fi APN settings for iPhone & Android
If you switched to Google Fi and data, picture messages (MMS) or hotspot stopped working, your phone is probably still using your old carrier's APN. Enter the Google Fi settings below exactly as shown, save, restart — then test with Wi-Fi off.
Google Fi
Fi app usually pushes APN automatically. h2g2 is the fallback for unlocked phones.
Google Fih2g2http://fi.g.co/mms/wapenc310260default,supl,mms- Delete any old APNs from your previous carrier (keep only this one selected).
- Save → select the new APN → toggle Airplane Mode for 10 seconds.
- Test: turn Wi-Fi OFF, load a page, send a picture message, test hotspot.
Troubleshooting Google Fi
Google Fi-specific check: Fi is app-managed, so if the manual h2g2 entry does not stick, remove it, open the Google Fi app and let it re-push its own carrier profile, then restart. Entering h2g2 on top of a half-pushed Fi profile creates two competing APNs — Fi works best with either the app's profile alone or the manual entry alone, never both.
