Consumer Cellular APN settings for iPhone & Android

If you switched to Consumer Cellular and data, picture messages (MMS) or hotspot stopped working, your phone is probably still using your old carrier's APN. Enter the Consumer Cellular settings below exactly as shown, save, restart — then test with Wi-Fi off.

📱 iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data Network🤖 Android: Settings → Network → Mobile Network → APN → + New🔄 Always restart after saving

Consumer Cellular

Consumer Cellular runs on two networks — AT&T and T-Mobile — and the APN depends on which SIM you have. Use only the rows for your SIM. Values from Consumer Cellular's own help pages; most phones load them automatically, and Consumer Cellular can also send them to your phone by text (give support your IMEI). The phone must be fully unlocked.

  1. Delete any old APNs from your previous carrier (keep only this one selected).
  2. Save → select the new APN → toggle Airplane Mode for 10 seconds.
  3. Test: turn Wi-Fi OFF, load a page, send a picture message, test hotspot.

Troubleshooting Consumer Cellular

Consumer Cellular-specific check: confirm which network your line is on (My Consumer Cellular app or support) before changing anything, then enter only that SIM's rows. An older Consumer Cellular help page listed the AT&T APN as reseller rather than ereseller — if ereseller does not connect, try reseller, or ask support to text the settings to your phone. On iPhone, connect to Wi-Fi, accept any carrier settings update, then turn Wi-Fi off and restart.
